It is important that you have the support to build resilience and restore confidence in a mana enhancing way.

WHO WE ARE:

         Mahi tū ora is a Kaupapa Māori mental health service, provides wellbeing and vocational support in the community.


WHAT WE DO:

The Mahi Tū Ora service use a whānau centered approach, applying Manaakitia te Mauri and Te Whare Tapa Whā models of practice.

Kai Tautoko-a-Mahi (well-being and vocational coaches) work alongside whānau to develop moemoeā, explore the possibilities and create pathway plans to meet well-being and vocational aspirations.

This pathway is tailored to individual needs, so you can be better prepared to engage in education, training, voluntary or paid employment.

How can you access this service:

Referrals can be made by your General Practitioner (GP), Community Mental Health Services, and Iwi Services.
